You just know that somewhere a television network executive came across this film and thought “Wow! This could be the next big reality show and it’s British and that’s where we steal all our ideas from.”
I was just thinking that I missed the 1960s but then I saw this preview and came to my senses. This does look like a great riff to watch with other friends of a certain age, though. Groovy!
i seen this movie someplace but i dont know where.
Man I would really like to get a pristine copy of the KTMA version and watch side by side
Probably Amazon Prime, that’s where they get all their free PD movies two weeks later. ;)
Eric J.:
You sound like a broken record.
For those millennials here, that’s like a mp3 that’s stuck.
I’m all in favor of KTMA re-dos. Now do SST:Death Flight and Phase IV!
For the troll here who took this comment literally, it was obviously sarcasm since this was a KTMA episode. Guess the troll isn’t as smart about Joel eps as he likes to think.
Hoping they do DR GOLDFOOT AND THE BIKINI MACHINE next, would make for a great double feature.
what’s an mp3?
Okay, here’s something I can’t figure out in this movie. These homicidal, fanatical women are out to take over the world, and they throw all those plans overboard for smarmy George Nader? Okay, doing it for Sean Connery or Roger Moore or James Coburn, I could see that. But George Nader? Are these women that desperate for companionship?
Did he really not know this was a KTMA episode? Wow, that’s embarrassing.
Well, given he was gay, maybe it was one of those Will & Grace things?
But it’s curious, apparently he had a whole series of spy b-movies, playing agent Jerry Cotton. He also appeared in a movie that truly needs riffing, Beyond Atlantis.
Hey, he saved the world from Ro-Man, that’s gotta count!
(Gee, and It played on KTMA? Huh. Gotta look that up sometime, right next to “Irony”.) ;)
Here he comes to (try to) ruin our day!
