The Fort Wayne (Ind.) Journal Gazette has a piece that’s mostly about Rifftrax and The Film Crew, but also mentions CT at the end. And get this line:
I interviewed Nelson before Hodgson’s announcement, so I didn’t get the chance to ask him about having to compete with his former collaborator.
Dude, the announcement was in October.
When was this interview?
Exactly, you don’t know how long this was sitting before they decided to run it. Most papers would consider this to be “filler” and he could easily have done the interview before the announcement but didn’t get it posted until now.
Sampo assumes too much!
…And know too little.
Phillip: Uh, that was my point. Clearly the reporter (or some copy editor down the line) quickly appended an update to a piece that has been sitting around for months. I was just noting that the update didn’t accomplish much except to make that fact obvious.
Hmmmm… he didn’t mention Josh Weinstein as part of Cinematic Titanic…
@Sampo
Sorry. It really sounded like you were mocking him or accusing him of lying or something.
@ Trevor:
What do you expect? Even Josh considers himself “the guy you don’t remember from MST3k”. ;)
I love Josh! :smile: Had just gotten into the show and loved Servo when all the sudden there was a new guy. Made it very strange and seemed a bit deceptive with Kevin trying to so a Josh impression at first. :( It made me mad. It made me MEAN MAD! :evil:
Till the episode ended and I was used to new Servo I think by the next week’s ep. Wait a sec…Josh who? :(
I have grown to like J. Elvis as well, I still think if MST3K was the Beatles, he would be Pete Best, but the guy is funny.
