Mario Bernardo, RIP

Bieno, Italy–Cinematographer Mario Bernardo, whose years in the tumultuous Italian film industry appear to be the calmest times of his tumultuous life, died at his home here just days from his 100th birthday.

For a full look at his life, let your favorite browser translate the many glowing tributes to the man.

MSTies may be aware that he provided optical effects for the movie in episode 908- THE PUMAMAN.

Thanks to Timmy for the heads up.

The Chinese supposedly have a saying. “May you not live in interesting times.” Mario Bernardo lived in “interesting times”. RIP
