   I used to love those commercials in the 70s (or was it the 60s). I mostly remember the “burp” and the fruit Tupperware (that was my favorite part).

   Eric J. was up to his old grumpy, misogynistic tricks by stating that Bridget and Mary Jo do the “women’s issues” shorts, and somehow those (and they) are inferior.

   I mentioned recently that the short “Harry the Dirty Dog” was riffed by B&MJ.

   Another wonderful short riffed by them that doesn’t have to do with women’s issues is “Oh, Boy! Babies!”

   Watch that short for the cute kids, the future TONY winner, and the future Muppeteer.

   And, of course, the laughs. :-)

    I’ve been rewatching my library of Bridget & Mary Jo riffs and loving them. They are so clever and cozy. They are my Current Favorite Riffing Team (though that title rotates from time to time).

    I’ve been reading this forum for probably 10 years and have always enjoyed it. The last year or two I’ve noticed an increase in ill-will and pot-stirring from a number of posters* that has frustrated the community. I’d like to add my cap into the ring of discussion, with a focus on kindness, respectful sharing of ideas, and a mutual love for MST and it’s talented alumnae.

    My friends call me Kitty (I don’t know why, my name is Susan!).

    Let’s see…. let’s see… less than two… just wait, it’ll come to me. This board would be a much happier place again if the “Less Than Two” worst offending troll here was banned. Still, I find his pathetic little “Wah, I wannabe one of the cool kids, I’m smarter than you, wah wah wah” posts amusing, in the few instances that I don’t block them outright.

    Bridget & Mary Jo are my favorite riffing team at Rifftrax too, although M&K&B are also fantastic.
