There is campaign to get both a Tom Servo & a Crow puppet inducted into the Atlanta, Georgia-based Center for Puppetry Arts museum.
The campaign ends Friday, Jan. 11, with a goal of $10,000. Contributions are tax deductible to an extent, and are being matched. At this writing they have about $1,000 to go.
A special Gold Tom Servo signed by the MST3K cast is being auctioned by The Center for Puppetry Arts as well.
On January 20th, Joel will be in Atlanta at the Center for the MST3K Puppet unveiling. He will also do a powerpoint about his lifelong obsession with ventriloquist dummies and their impact on MST3K. Get tickets for that here.
“There were no puppets in this movie!”
The “gold” (painted?) Tom Servo is pretty cool. If it came with a “Red & White” Crow It would be worth the $1100+. I’ll probably take the pledge level that has the MST3K TOTE BAG…Does anyone know what it looks like?

Does the Tom Serv-Crow POP! Figure that was part of the Kickstarter campaign count?

Cool!
That gold Servo looks like he’s saying “Check me out!”

The gold ‘bot should be: Crow T. Servo (the T. stands for “Tom”)

The first sentence tells us there is a campaign to get Tom and Crow puppets into a museum, implying it is not a sure thing.
Later it says Joel will be there for the unveiling.
Am I the only one confused by this? If the unveiling is already scheduled then what would happen if they don’t get the rest of the money?
Poopie!

Johnny’s nonchalance:
The campaign has been funded! :-)
It reached $12,875.18 of its $10,000 goal.
