Even if you don’t go over to listen to the interview, take a quick look at the picture (further down the page below the picture of ‘old’ Kevin) of a young Kevin (I’m assuming), back in his school days….
Yes, Janet always posts a current photo of her guest along with one from High School.
Kevin, your high school photo looks a lot like one of me at the same age. Of course, that makes sense since we are the same age and both photos were black and whites taken by a Mathew Brady wet plate camera. We were devilishly handsome back in those distant days weren’t we.
Janet Varney seems genuinely nice. Her movie riffs with Cole Stratton at Rifftrax were pretty decent, though I believe it’s difficult for many MSTies to accept anyone who’s not an MST3K cast member. Rifftrax’s original mission seemed to be an open market for folks to post their movie riffs (Audio only at that time),but that never seemed to get off the ground. Only Cole & Janet and Matthew Elliot seemed to have more than 1-2 shows. It would be nice to see different approaches to riffing from people like Chris Elliot, Rob Corddry, etc.
Are they the ones that did Poltergeist? That was pretty good.
She seems nice.
Nice to hear Kevin talk about his wife Jane, who I’ve never seen. Curious if anybody here has. (Also curious about Bill Corbett’s wife, since she too, seems to keep a pretty low profile…..at least in terms of Rifftrax-related projects/events.)
Anybody ever seen any of these ladies?
Most MST fans, I would think, are familiar with Mike Nelson’s wife Bridget, since she was on the show, and has continued with Rifftrax……but the other wives, continue to remain a mystery….

Am I the only one that thinks Bill gets more handsome as he ages? Kinda the reverse of Mike.
Maybe he’s a sparkly vampire.
I was recently introduced to Janet Varney on Paul F. Tompkins’ podcast Spontaneanation, and she is hilarious and wonderful. Defintely makes me want to check out her riffs with Cole Stratton now.

I feel the same way about Bridget…..not the, uh, ‘sparkly vampire’ part (“wink”!), but the fact that she seems to have gotten even sexier with age (Sorry, Mike!!)!
