Much as I love slasher films, especially from the late 70s, I’ve never seen this one.
Good thing I have some Kickstarter reward bucks in my account!
I’m not sure what joke they thought they were making with the “Paperback” cover, unless it was having to look at the Harlequin-esque poster a hundred times on Amazon Prime.
(Seriously, the timing and title listings are getting more and more suspicious–They seem to have a one-stop location for figuring out which movies are Public Domain enough.)
Anyone else–like, maybe, someone who liked old 70’s/80’s B-thrills–would have gone for the “Glory days of 80’s VHS boxes” joke when trying to make symbolic jokes about Every 80’s Slasher Movie Ever Made.
Hey, you figured it out! The probable motivation behind the poster, that is, not how to not be an unfunny ass.
Hey. I like the “paperback cover”, but strictly for prurient reasons.
I’m guessing that by now this isn’t Riftrax’s first slasher but I don’t know how many others they’ve done.
I agree.
Oh yeah!!
This is probably the oddest choice ever for RiffTrax. I never would have selected this in a million years, just based on the tone of the movie alone. Granted, they’ve done slashers before, but what next, The Prowler?
I’m a big horror fan, but this to me is just plain weird.
Rifftrax truly will riff anything. Wow. I await Last House on the Left and Hostel 2.
The rifftrax cover design is in fact almost identical to the original poster for the movie.

Not sure why you say this. I just got done watching it, and I liked it VERY MUCH! For a slasher movie, it has very little gore (less than Ruby, or The Last Slumber Party), and its low budget provides for a fun little outing with plenty of HUH!!??!!
Perhaps they edited it down. I saw this movie for the first time last year, it was was disturbing
As is the case with many other film genres, I enjoy learning about slasher films but have actually WATCHED very few of them. If you’re looking to find any others that you’ve never seen, I can post some slasher film review site links here. :-)
Fair enough. Different people find different things disturbing.
I love Ruby and Last Slumber Party, I’ll have to check this 1 out.
