I managed to catch the last couple of movies in the Turkey Day marathon. And you’d think after years of watching Python, I’d know NOT TO TURN OFF THE SHOW until the next show has started. Thus, I didn’t see the announcement until this morning. That being said…
Great news! (Oh, did we do a “Movies for Season 12” WDT?)
That’s great and all, but is there any word on them releasing more pristine KTMA episodes?
Speaking of the Turkey Day Marathon, was the sound out of sync during Warrior of the Lost World for anyone else?
If we have, we could always do it again. It wouldn’t be the first time we’ve repeated a WDT (Christmas movies to riff and local horror hosts come to mind).

Hot damn! That makes me happy!! By all means, let’s do a Season 12 movie suggestion WDT. (So many possibilities, so little time . . . )
This is great to give them anther season. I am guessing that at least 2 of the movies would be the live show they did?
They said they didn’t get good recordings of the live show, I believe.

Those crazy kids waited until the last second?! I wish they had announced it right at the start, because the whole marathon felt kind of lugubrious without an announcement, like the show’s last dying gasp.
Well, I’m glad the show’s coming back. Hopefully we get as many new episodes as we did for Season 11, but a full 24-ish would be nice too.
Joel talked about possibly releasing them, in the recent Brooklyn Vegan interview, so I’d guess they got a good enough recording.
And there was much rejoicing!

Also maybe a new moon 13 base look? Or revamped Deep 13? lol (yeah right!) Still it would be nice to see Dr.F & Frank someway.
And nice to see that Jonah survived Alexis’s wedding…
S12 would have to merit super-franchise-obsessed fandom to catch Netflix’s brand-name attention for an S13, but if even Beat Bugs (which did) could merit a bonus special, there’s hope for Netflix hitching their star to Joel & Jonah after all.
Also seeing as Netflix won’t have House of Cards to kick around anymore.
Hopefully, the guys’ live Superargo/Eegah tour has sanded a few rough edges about why to keep the riffing in the same room for more chemistry, the guys have learned a little more “Retro pop culture” than just the Muppets and Andrew Dice Clay, and it’s down to what movies can be selected–
Still, whatever rows Jonah’s boat. Life is but a dream, as Captain Kirk said. :)
(Although, isn’t a Jonah in a boat supposed to be bad luck?)

I will say that as time passed and the less was said the more hopeful I became, and I was so happy to receive Joel’s Project Update last night right before going to bed (wouldn’t you know that my wife and I watched most of the marathon, EXCEPT for the last part?).
So CONGRATULATIONS, Joel, Jonah, Felicia, Patton, Hampton, Baron, Rebecca, and Tim (you were great on the tour!)! — We hope you’ll all be coming back for Season 2! :)
Yeah, my sound was messed up, too, lagging the picture by maybe two seconds. I think it was intended to help us all brush up on our lipreading skills. Guess what the character is saying, then get immediate feedback.
I wonder if what Jason meant was to re-record them as regular studio episodes, although in that case the jet-screen stuff would be weird.
