Is it possible to watch these through a Roku? If so, how do I go about setting it up?

I have a Roku. I assume you have the Youtube channel. I think you can just stream it there.

Yep. All you have to do is search for the YouTube, Shout Factory TV and Pluto.tv apps. Download those to the Roku and you’re free to watch on whatever app shakes your tree.

I’ll be away at my brother’s house and will have limited computer access. Will the intro segments be archived somewhere?

I’d settle for rerunning last year’s Marathon, which I missed entirely. I assumed the “host segments” would be posted on YOU TUBE, as in past years, but it didn’t happen. It’s not even on SHOUT’S ROKU channel, which is otherwise terrific, not just for MST3K, but Rifftrax, Ernie Kovacs, Swan’s Crossing (!) and Sixties variety specials.

With any luck, they’ll use it to announce that Season 12 is a go.

With any luck, they’ll announce they’re sparing us from a season 12.

If it is greenlit, no one is going to force you to watch it. At least I don’t think so. I suppose Shout Factory might decide to hire a goon squad to break down your door and fit you in that viewing rig from A Clockwork Orange. But that strikes me as unlikely.

I highly doubt there will be an announcement of season 12 or any season 11 episodes in the marathon.
The fun of it is we get to enjoy 6 classics while we digest.
The business side of it is to sell dvd box sets on Black Friday.
Turkey Day may have become a commercial, but it’s one I would never fast-forward through!

He’s probably a troll, and a lazy one at that. He didn’t even bother choosing a username for trolling.
