Wikipedia says that this film is “notable for being the first live-action film to use the visual effects known as bullet-time.” Which sounds way cooler than it actually is. Get it here.

FYI, the star of this movie is the guy who played the evil guy with the cane in Space Mutiny.

I seem to recall a parallel plot involving generating power from potatoes when Pearl plotted to achieve world dominion by controlling potato supplied energy. If this movie had used Bobo to mess up the bad guys’ plans they could have saved a lot of time.

This is like the umpteenth movie in a row that RT has edited to hell and gone — almost a half hour out of this one, I believe.
Anybody have any idea why they’re doing this regularly now? One of the things I always liked about Rifftrax was that they riffed the entire movie. That seems to be a thing of the past.
Has there been any “official” word on this?

That’s true of any movie with bad guys who have plans, really…

You know a movie’s going to be something special when the most notable actor had has best-known role as an infant (that would be Michael Mayer as the villain, who was one of the kids who played Little Ricky on I Love Lucy).
