Minor, minor, MINOR nitpick: “Here and Now” is neither produced nor distributed by NPR. It’s a production of PRI (Public Radio International), in association with the BBC World Service and WBGH-Boston.
But no sweat — it’s a common mixup.

Well, slap me silly. I meant WBUR-Boston, not WGBH. So even the mixup correction is a mixup.

It might not be NPR, but they use the same sedatives.
Still, nice interview though Joel was there for five and a half seasons, not four and a half (well, technically six and a half if you count KTMA).

I am sure it was a delightful interview. My work computer does not have speakers – cheapskate corporation has us using P.O.S. ten year old junk. How am I supposed to get my CT fix? Two more day and I can get the new dvd!

Nice interview. The press is becoming redundant in it’s universal approval. I think it harkens to something so good that even after it is taken away it rises like a phoenix that shines even brighter in the rebirth.

Eric, Joel was on MST3K for seasons 1 through 4, and half of season 5. Ergo, four and a half seasons (5 1/2 including KTMA).

Very good interview, although I too rankled a little at them not including KTMA in the 4 1/2 seasons count for Joel. It is interesting how there are always more stories from the early days (this time, carpentry) that we haven’t heard yet, and nice to hear Kevin in there too.
