I wonder who has the official IMDb Clicker job at RiffTrax, whose job it is go back and look up the entire filmographies of every director who ever did a S9/10 cult-favorite: “Good news, guys, found three more Greydon Clarks!”

I love this movie on its own. Have a crummy VHS transfer that I adore. I am really looking forward to this.

This is awesome!!! This is the one of the funniest movie reviews I’ve read at the Agony Booth site. I’ve got it downloading now and can’t wait to see it in all its awful glory.

Gee, maybe it’s the same guy who picked out all those Gamera movies on MST3K. And all those Hercules movies. And all the Roger Corman flicks. Etc, etc.
But of course, since that was “Joel era”, I’m sure those were OK by you. It’s only bad when it’s post-Joel, right?

RiffTrax must have made a deal with Multicom Entertainment Group; this is the 8th Multicom Release this year. Not that there’s anything wrong with that – the Multicom film library is full of ready-to-be-riffed fare. It’s interesting to look at the catalog and see what might be in the RiffTrax pipeline. I wouldn’t mind Hi-Riders myself.

Think Multicom is one of the cheap companies you see today distributing those no-name movies to Netflix and Hulu, which makes them to RT and the streaming services sort of what Film Ventures Int’l was to syndicated Minnesota stations:
RT needs cheap no-rights public-domain movies to work with, and then sorts out those (usually most of them) that have some cult-marketable name connection to the OTHER cheap public-domain movies that the CC and later SciFi eras had to work with. Like, being directed by Greydon Clark or Tommy Wiseau, or having Captain Santa in them, or some such.

I dunno, I think they like how it is now, ordering humans to feed them on demand.

Somehow, I’ve never seen this one. Wikipedia says the “Rifftrax version is only 75 mins, which is 15 mins shorter than the original. What did they cut out? Naked “wurwulf” girl?, Robert Z’Dar love scene?, the French Plantation sequence?

There’s a pretty in-depth analysis of UNINVITED at the andyoucallyourselfascientist dot com website (which is fun to browse anyhow).

It’s been years since I last saw this movie, but I recall it being light to nonexistent in terms of bewbage – just a lot of scenes of girls in bikinis.
