This, I think, is RiffTrax’s final installment of its “three riffer” commentary tracks for movies that were previously released by Legend Films with solo commentaries by Mike. This one is “Swing Parade” featuring the Three Stooges. Yes, comedies are a little tougher to riff, but be assured that the presence of the Three Stooges in this movie should in no way indicate that there is actual comedy therein. Mike actually did riff this one, and he did a great job, I thought, so it will be interesting to see the difference between his solo take and the “three riffer” take.
As with the others, if you previously bought the Legend DVD, all you need is to download the commentary and you’re all set.
If you didn’t buy the DVD, you can also download it as a video-on-demand file that includes the movie and the riffing.
Just downloaded Plan nine from outer space yesterday…..I feel like something was missing.

Is it just me or is that a good look for Bill?

It is a good look for Bill. And Kevin makes a handsome bald man.

I’m liking all of their hairstyles on this cover (or Kevin’s lack thereof)!
I’ll pick this one up once I finish with a few other ones I have on the back burner.

I loved their 3 Stooges DVD. I remember fishing it out of the wm DVD dump and feeling like it shouldn’t have been there with the odd early Jim Carey movies and Yahoo Serious collector’s Edition DVDs. They genuinely looked to love and respect the stooges.

Sure is amazing how ever since moderation started taking place, all of a sudden there is no negative feedback whatsoever for anything Rifftrax. I guess censorship isn’t just for language, but also for opinion.
Sign of the times.

Patrick, I don’t think moderation has anything to do with it. At least I hope not? I think that everyone has had ample time to voice their opinions, both positive and negative, about Rifftrax, and maybe are everyone is just tired of yammering on about the whole thing.

The woman singing in the sample clip is Gale Storm, who you may remember from a TV show called “My Little Margie.” It was a Roland Reed Production, which also produced the Rocky Jones series.

#7, I am always thinking the exact same thing whenever I read any threads here on Cinematic Titanic. Rifftrax seems to get kicked around constantly here but CT seems to get nothing but 100% worship.

Now people are complaining about the lack of complaining? I’ve been to this site about once an hour since this article went up and I can assure you that not a single comment here was ever deleted.

Just wanted to note, Patrick, that there has been no “moderation” instituted, other than a profanity filter.

Rifftrax sucks.
Happy?

Then, Sampo, you have my apologies. (Seriously – no sarcasm.) I stand corrected.
