Is the problem that you think Rey is a Mary Sue, or that you correctly observe that she is female? If the former, I fear you do not understand the term “Mary Sue.” If the latter, then I must agree that you are probably a misogynist.

Rogue One has the best Star Wars robot, bar none. And Darth gets his groove on with his funky self at the end in wonderful slaughter force fu choreography. As for riff-ibility, it’s not a goofy train wreck; so it might not be the best target, particularly when there are riffs already for 8 other movies in this universe.

I watched “Fun in Balloon Land” recently and it was quite an experience.

No, Rey, to our surprise, was not a Mary Sue, and that was the most watchable thing about Force Awakens–

I’m just concerned that the “Rogue One” track will feature yet more “boy, do we hate the Prequels” riffs. That’s gone beyond beating a dead horse into following the dead horse into the afterlife and beating on him some more.

+++++ Sorry, though It’s not Really like yelling; To be fair, I believe Joel sold his interest in the show to Mallon when he left. Whether other cast members were Legally entitled to profit participation is a contracts question that we can’t answer without knowing more facts. Most (or all) of them will be getting some cash going forward, but whether that’s something they were owed or just a good will gesture to get them to appear on the Reboot (or at least not dump on it), we can’t say. Josh & Trace have been pretty tough on the Reboot, so we can assume their checks are still in the mail.

Please turn off the all caps. It’s yelling. :-(
