If I could preorder any CT DVD, it’d be this one. I saw this and Dynamite Brothers in Boston and loved them both. Top of the line, boys and Mary Jo. Also, so glad the Count Floyd reference is in the trailer- I was the one who complimented you guys on it.

Excellent! Can’t wait!

Can someone help me with this? Is there anyway I can get a Trace autograph with my disc? I have all the discs but no Trace autograph. I went to the Dynamite Brothers show in Boston and had them all sign my Manos and Frankensteins Castle of Freaks discs. But would like to have the small picture of Trace to put with one of my discs, 4 of the 6 movies has one on the back under the plastic.
I cant wait to see this movie and Dynamite Brothers on disc……

I loved the Count Floyd ref, one of the highlights of the trailer for me. This one looks like another good ‘un–I’ll be downloading it the day it comes out!
(Legally, of course. From their website. Sheesh. :) )

I really wish that CT had a subscription feature, so I’d automatically receive each new episode as it was released. I’ve really loved their offerings so far, and I can’t wait to see this.

I was another one who saw this in Minneapolis. I’ve been looking forward to this one for MONTHS. I can tell you for a fact, this is a good one. Doomsday Machine good.

Wow…… What is going on in #18’s scary world??
I too would love a pre-order option from CT. The CT releases seem to be getting stronger and stronger, I’m hoping the new release shows that all of the “rust” is now gone.

I can’t wait for the show this saturday!!! I’ve been a loyal MSTie for 16 years and this just seems surreal. It’s gonna be so great!!!

yay! another 70s film, wait havent they all been 70s films? (excluding wasp woman and santa claus conquers the martians of course) thinking back to mst3k the 70s was a gold mine for bad movies, yeah I know dont forget about the 50s and 60s. but is it just me or are there like more bad 70’s films riffed than any other period?
drugs, bell bottoms that ugly shade of orange that seemed to be so popular, eight track tapes, I mean whats up with that?
oh well we should all just be thankful something useful came from the 70’s.
damn it! is it the 19th yet?

This is the one to get! Saw it in Boston and almost killed myself laughing so hard. The trailer only hints at how absolutely insane the film is and how fantastic the riffing is. Enjoy!

#21 I didn’t think of asking them when we saw them. Bonehead that I am, I did think of bringing my Freaks and Geeks box set to have J.Elvis, Trace,Joel and Dave( Gruber)Allen to sign but I didn’t. I didn’t want to bring too much stuff and be a pain having them sign everything. The one thing I do plan to bring the next time they come around is my M.S.T. Lunch Box. It’s packed away from the last time we moved and I will dig that out if the come to Boston ( PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE.)

Finally!!
After seeing it at their Chicago performance, I’ll definitely be getting it.
They had me gasping for air by the end of this show.
There’s one part I hope they kept. The Father’s request is the mansion be burned down once he dies (and his death takes FOREVER!!). He then shows them the stone basement, and MAry Jo says something like, ‘so you want the entire house burned down

Great. Now if only they’d start accepting checks or money orders I’d be able to order them, too.

After traveling to Minnesota to see the live show of this back in October, we’ve been very anxious to have it on DVD. Ordered it last night and it’s already shipped. Service from CT is good. Can’t wait to watch it in a few days.

Just ordered it. Can’t wait! Hope the delivery is as good as the live show was.

I ordered it too. I’m a riffing addict and an obsessive collector so I’ll continue to get them all even though I haven’t been super impressed with CT so far. The only one that really made me laugh fairly hard is the Santa Claus remake. The rest have been amusing and worth watching but far from home runs.

I downloaded it through EZTakes (and again, I really recommend the service to anyone who runs on a Windows machine. Started the download going, went to bed, got up, started the burn going, went back to bed…look, I was adjusting my sleep schedule from nights to days, OK? :) Point is, it’s a lot faster and cheaper than shipping it, and the DVD is the same quality.)
Good movie–I think it’ll improve on re-watching, because the acting really hits you like a baseball bat to the face the first time around. But the blackface actors are deservedly hammered by the riffers, as is the creepy incest subtext everywhere (“Look at my skin, guys! It’s actually crawling!”)
Favorite line: “You know, it’s going to be really tough to spice up the marriage a few years down the line when you start out with the Master/Slave blood covenant.”
As has been the case for a while now, my one complaint is that they don’t do enough sketches. I really loved the old MST3K model of one at the beginning, three breaks, and one at the end, but all they do is one at the beginning and one break here. It’s a slightly weak sketch, too, which would be more forgivable if it weren’t the only one. (The intro sketch is great, as always. Todd dancing around the question of why the crew only gets to watch bad movies is priceless.)
So that’s the deal. Loved the download, enjoyed the movie, more sketches please. (Oh, and I was very happy to get the trailers for the first six releases!)

Wow! My DVD came already. That is pretty cool. Very funny ep, I think they’re at their best when there are some things in the movie to be outraged by. (And boy, are there this time)
PS–CptnRossHagen if you don’t get a Trace card from someone, feel free to contact me (under casimar) on the CT forum. I have a spare now.

I finally forgiven CT for SCCTM (the cheap shot Vietnam riff) and frankly, except for the presents skit, didn’t enjoy the episode. That being said, the trailer for Blood looks good, a few positive posts from above and having six CTs under their belts, this will be a definite purchase (next paycheck).

I’ve bought “Frankenstein’s Castle of Freaks” and the “Santa Claus Conquers the Martians” remake through other methods, have enjoyed both episodes, so I’ll be ordering this episode directly to do my part in helping CT. Yes, they could have more riffs and skits, but I think they’ll get even better as they go along.
