I’ll be there Saturday night. This worked out great since I saw Blood of the Vampire in Minneapolis last year. I’m really looking for to the Dynamite Brothers.

    HI-KEEBA!!!

This is going to be awesome, and I don’t mean that in the loose and popular sense, but in the true sense, as in: “this experience will be worthy of awe for the rest of my life.” I will literally be filled with awe whenever I remember going to this.

As that bearded guy in Pod People might say…HUZZAH!

Does this imply that they don’t plan on releasing “Blood of the Vampires” on DVD??

    Meadows,

No. Blood Of The Vampires has already been recorded and will be a DVD release. Dynamite Brothers is the first CT episode that is playing to live audiences before being filmed.

Went to the show last Sat. we saw Dynamite Brothers but never saw Blood of the Vampire. (the Friday show) I asked Joel when B.O.T.V. would be out and he said in March and then the next would be Dynamite Brothers. They really do well with the live shows and it really helps them to fine tune the DVD’S. It was great to watch them we had second row seats (the first row was folding chairs) every time a riff would hit or miss you could see the interaction between them. Mary Jo was cute when the audience would react to her riffs she look at Josh or Joel and then look back at the audience with a big smile. We had the best time at the show and I’m sure anyone at this weekends shows will see what I mean.

Brilliance. A theater full of brilliance, that’s all I can say really. I enjoyed the warm-up bits from Gruber and Josh, and the film… well… it might have made sense. I couldn’t tell, and I didn’t care. Hilarious riffing all around and just a great atmosphere. I think my friend said it best when he said, “this is the only place in town that will cheer more for Arrested Development than the Cavaliers,” and I loved being in an atmosphere like that.

(Arrested Development was in reference to something Gruber said during the warm-up)

The show was fantastic. My wife and kids laughed so hard all night long. I just hope they do release this on DVD because we laughed through jokes we missed.
What a great group of people and the after-show signings were so unbelievably friendly and “homey.” The 5 CT members were so genial and friendly with everyone in line- what a truly great show by such great people who, despite such rabid fandom and cult-stardom, are so down-to-earth after all this time.
I hope to do this again, ASAP.
