Now that the Cubs are in the World Series (first time since 1945), what would you do if you had a four-hour layover in Chicago (from episode 419- REBEL SET). Me, I would try to catch a Blackhawks hockey game and maybe get some pizza at Rosati’s Pizza (you midwesterners/Chicago area fans would know what i am talking about).
As I noted in the episode guide: If it’s a plane layover, it would take you two hours to get into town from O’Hare and two to get back, so…
Me, I think I’d take the architecture boat tour of the Chicago River and note how the structures of so many of the buildings tend to draw my eyes upward … oh, okay, I’d go Navy Pier and get hammered.

The Berghoff closed back in like 2009, only to be re-opened about 10 months later, but the food just isn’t the same anymore. Myself, I’d spend a few hours at Untitled Supper Club on Kinzie, which has an awesome throwback speakeasy vibe, and the biggest whiskey selection in (probably) the whole country. i believe its percentage (Chicago has over 600 murders so far this year)
I stopped over twice in 1999. Waiting for a delayed connectioon to Kansas City I went to the bar and watched baseball for probably the first time. Heading back from Oklahoma City I popped into Chicago and had enough time to visit a CD shop before back to the airport and home to the UK.
