Damn! What happened to Frank’s hair? I love the guy, but Jesus he looks like a middle-aged surfer with that blonde get-up!

Sorry to say, I won’t be attending this show, but hopefully those who will have a great time!

Rotton, I’ll try to have twice as much fun, just for you

  3. Kris says:

Steve, can you make that three times the fun? I’d love to be there myself, but it is sadly not to be.

…almost all of the hundred or so fans stayed to stand in line for autographs…

There were way more than a hundred people there. That lecture hall seats over 500, and it was more than half full.

I’m willing to assume some share of the fun, extending beyond my own share, for those unable to attend.

It’s my way of repaying those who assumed my share of the fun at the San Diego Comicon reunion, when I was unable to attend that.

People helping people assume, spread, & diversify levels, content, & quality of fun is our nations most valuable nature resource.
    That and pudding, and Slinkies.

Thanks, Steve K! Enjoy!! If it weren’t for this damn economy and me still out of work, I’d be going too.

2ndSuitor, you’re a good man (woman?). I promise to repay the favor if any of the Brains ever venture into across the Atlantic to the UK. :)

Can’t wait to see them. I hope it doesn’t SNOW!

I think it’s only supposed to snow Sunday, so that’ll be okay. (Except for the drive home).

Kris – Thanks, mate. (That’s some trans-Atlantic pandering there) And yes, my naughty bits are of the dangling variety.

I feel indebted to you and your countrymen for the “Spaced” love. What great pop cultural exchanges & bulk distributions of fun. It’s a statement on the human spirit, and not continentally exclusive as I indicated early (Slinkies, though, that was all us!).

    Cheers!

Gary, it was sold out, which Joel said was a very good birthday present. We all sang Happy Birthday, and Gruber brought out a little be-candled cake.

And it didn’t snow. (There was a blinding rain for the drive back, though.)
