Typical podcast interview. Too much host banter and terrible lag. What Frank had to say, when he spoke and when he could actually be heard, was interesting.

The only host that was kinda annoying, was the female host. I mean it’s cool that she’s a fan, but it came to a point where it seemed like she was rubbing her “MSTie-ness” in the other hosts’ faces.

I believe the word for which you seek is “MSTique.”

TV’s Frank was delightful and patient with this onslaught of nerdy arrogance. The hosts (especially the aggressively awful female host) are abrasively unfunny and awkward. I much prefer the written interviews to the recorded interviews, because I don’t have to listen to the hosts make total asses out of themselves trying to get the Brains to laugh at their wit. Be an interviewer and not a participant. You’re not, nor will you ever be, on the SOL. And like Clint (#2) mentioned, the hosts’ banter on while Frank patiently stands by and the female hosts steamrolls through many of Frank’s replies.
Other than that, it was an absolutely wonderful interview…

I think you all missed the point, guys. This was not an interview, but a discussion of Mystery Science Theater 3000. Frank was a participant. Maybe the headline should reflect that?

Wow, no love for the female host huh? Actually I didn’t think she was as bad as you guys say. At least she had a firm knowledge on the show; the two other guys were asking inane questions like “Did you guys ever do this particular movie?”.
Frank was great, very cordial, and is probably one of the easier MST alum to approach and talk to.
