So glad B&MJ are back! And this one is a riot.

Man, art films from the Film Board of Canada — anyone who watched PBS in the 1960s or 70s should recognize the style of this one. This is the kind of stuff PBS used to fill up the spaces between shows before they started airing constant non-commercials.

Were there many “Friends” jokes? Because “Friends” is the first thing that the name “Phoebe” makes me think of. :-)

There wasn’t even one reference to the show. Amazing restraint on their part.

Another excellent outing from the ladies, with several “naughty” riffs tossed in. :)

I heard he’s a Canadian political refugee living in Hungary.

Okay guys, this one is NOT “that” old,
and there are probably a lot of fans here who saw this film in their
    High School “health Class.”
This was a time when we needed sex ed, but this was the best schools were allowed to do. ANY type of birth control could ONLY be mentioned as part of VD prevention in My state. This was long before AIDS and condoms on classrooms.
You saw this film and then did NOT do anything with the opposite sex.
    That was their belief anyway.

To be fair, putting condoms on classrooms wasn’t a bad idea.

I remember one reference. Can’t remember exactly what they said, though.

In fairness, after imagining sex with the guy in this short, I’d imagine most people made a vow of celibacy. Mary Jo summed it up best with, “Gah, you think you’re a pacifist, and then this guy!”
