Dan Fogelberg, RIP

Singer-songwriter Dan Fogelberg, best known for tunes including “Leader of the Band” and “Same Old Lang Syne,” died Sunday at his home in Maine after battling prostate cancer. He was 56.

Dan was a MSTie, who requested–and was granted–a special visit to the set during the 90s. You were one of the good ones, Dan.

Yes, very sad. His music was the soundtrack to my college days. I was happy to learn that he didn’t consider himself as “sad” as much of his music.

His Album with Tim Weisberg was one of my favorites- makes me feel like listening to it again. Also, in the movie “Pod People” isn’t there a reference to Dan during the scene when Trumpy’s Brother enters the cave while the two poachers are cooking over a roaring fire? (“looks like a pig and a bear” Dan Fogelberg guy) -“A pear”- Servo

Why didn’t y’all mention that he was in Pod People too?
