(Hey Smoothie of Great Power, maybe we could meet up?)

Hmmm, “Star Wars Knock-Offs”. I’ll guess Starcrash (the Hoff…. IN SPACE) and “Message from Space” (only slightly more coherent than Invasion of the Neptune Men). If they’re ambitious they might tackle Turkish Star Wars or Starchaser.

Glad to see Bill, Frank and Trace working together, it would be fantastic to see Frank or Trace guest star on a Rifftrax live show, but that may be a crazy dream.
I’d also like to see Cinematic Titanic come back and do one movie a year, since I know the touring was too hard to maintain.

Man, every year I think Dragon*Con couldn’t possibly sound more fun and then they prove me wrong. Why is the country’s best genre convention in freakin’ Atlanta? (No offense, Georgians. Well, okay, maybe a little, but c’mon, it is weird.)

Given the costumes Tom and Crow are wearing are they going to be showing Fugitive Alien?
Also, I’m tired this morning and dumb: I don’t get the “Network Strikes Back” thing. Just a cancellation reference? God I need caffeine…

So tell me Goshzilla what wonderful paradise are you from? Atlanta has the facilities for this and many other events. Atlanta is a very cosmopolitan city that hosted the Olympics. In fact, the Atlanta Book Fair is going on at the same time. Maybe you should visit and see for your self.

I’m from the New York suburbs, and I have visited Atlanta – albeit only over a weekend for a wedding – and it seemed like a very nice city. I wasn’t saying they you don’t deserve it; I was just saying that’s it’s been a (pleasant) surprise to see Dragon*Con grow into such a popular event over the years. Maybe it’s succeeded somewhat because it’s not held in one of the cities that host the over-hyped, over-commercialized, and much less fun geek culture conventions (San Diego, Chicago, NY). Of course, the bigger Dragon*Con gets, the sooner it joins their ranks.

Any chance one or more of these events will be recorded for any poor, dumb so-and-sos (like me) who can’t be there?

I love the phony fold lines on the poster. Nice touch! ;-)
Man, I wish I was going to this.

Lots of people associated with The Thrilling Adventure Hour! Those are going to be some great shows on the complete opposite side of the country from me!
EDIT: Oh. It was this past weekend. But seriously, Thrilling Adventure Hour.
