1. As always, if you catch a reference they haven’t annotated, or if they need to make a correction, post in the comments THERE, not here.
2. Remember that they only annotate the theater segments. Not host segments. If you suggest a reference in a host segment, they will ignore it.
Man, this is a devastating collection of top episodes they’re racking up here.
On a whiny note, is there any reason Shout! uploads these at a pathetic 480p? I realize MST3K was shot on tape, but there’s no reason for these to look worse than broadcast quality in full screen.

The annotations never work on my tablet, which is my usually my main mode of watching stuff these days. So I probably won’t bother.

I still don’t understand why they don’t annotate host segments. Its not like those aren’t chock full of references, too.

That’s what MST3K was recorded in. The standard broadcast resolution in the US at the time was 480×720. It looks crummy on your HD screen because YouTube’s video format doesn’t upscale well for technical reasons that I don’t really comprehend. “Well, it would take a scientist to explain it and I’m just too mad. And evil.”

They could actually show it in blindingly sharp HD, but they used those special parts to make…. to make… it’ll come to me.
