This is pretty good, but why no mention of
WARNING FROM SPACE
which is great?

@1 Warning from Space is from two completely unintelligible (and based on past riffs, unfunny what I could understand) English dudes and not anyone who worked on MST3K.

Ouch, kind of harsh don’t you think? I thought the riffs sounded funny (maybe a bit dry) from the preview and I’d hardly say the riffers sounded “unintelligble.”
Anyways, I’ve been thinking of gettting Warning From Space if just for the fact I love Japanese sci-fi which the Rifftrax VOD lineup could use more of.

No, you’re not the only one. I’d love to buy more shorts collections on DVD.

The lack of mention of “Warning from Space” is not meant to be a commentary on the quality of the riffing. It’s just that we’re primarily an MST3K site, not a RiffTrax site, so we typically only mention RiffTrax releases when former MST3K cast members are involved.

One of my favorite Afterschool Specials is about shoplifting. Those are a blast! They should do a few.

I quite like the Matthew Elliott & Ian Potter Riffs as I have a soft spot for dry British humour. My only issue with them is that their voices and accents, at least to this Yank, are so similar that it often feels like one person talking to himself. (Which can be more disturbing than entertaining, or so my coworkers tell me.)
Plus, I’ve been meaning to see Warning From Space for years (Daiei, 1956, giant starfish aliens!), so the RiffTrax has gone right to the top of my must-buy list.

Oh, okay. I wouldn’t entirely agree with drawing the line right there, but it’s not an unreasonable policy.
