As you know, four slightly edited episodes were recently made available to Public TV stations. The first confirmed PBS Station to show MST3K is, unsurprisingly, TPT, Twin Cities Public Television.

This might actually get me to contribute to our local PBS station. :-)
The Crawling Eye is scheduled for the 21st.

I e-mailed APT a little over a week ago asking what stations would be carrying the show, this is their response:
“Hi, (Tarl Cabot), Many thanks for contacting American Public Television about the series. We are offering licenses to local public television across the country and have only just released the series. With that in mind, the requests from stations are just beginning. I can tell you that we have had a good number of requests from stations west of the Mississippi. In addition, there are stations scattered across the Eastern US, though none in Florida have yet signed on. Atlanta is the nearest market to you at this time. The best thing to do is for you to contact your local public television station and let them know of your interest. Stations do seek and count on viewer input to help them build their schedules. An informed viewer providing comments goes a long way in helping them make such licensing decisions. If you need assistance in locating the station nearest you — and connecting directly to their website where you can find contact information — please use the “Station Finder” in the Viewers’ section of our website at APTonline.org. We have been impressed by the fan base for this series and hope it makes it to your market! Best, Jamie”
Tl;dr: Lots of interest west of the Mississippi, scattered in the East. Call or email your local station to ask for the show, they usually listen.

I am a contributor to Minnesota Public Radio, thanks to a gift from my wife. Is that close enough?
I don’t watch anything on TV these days, but…

Just noticed that the season 3 episode 320-The Unearthly starts two minutes prior to the others which are 92 minutes in length. So, the 97 minute episodes will have 7 total minutes cut out (allowing for the extra two minutes prior to the others 10pm CT start time) and the 92 minute episodes will have 4 total minutes cut to meet the 88-minute window.
Okay, I just confused myself and I’m a Mathematics major.

MST3K is back airing in the Twin Cities. Looks like it’s come full circle.

They should sell these stations “Overdrawn at the Memory Bank”. Public Pearl MUST someday be shown before an actual pledge drive! :-)
