I’m a day late on this. I accuse the holidays.

It’s the first time I even heard about this Hanukah (Is that how you spell it) story. :-)
Huh? But I thought it was only Josh who beats the “Christmas movies pretending Hanukah doesn’t exist” riffs into the ground!
(Yeah, had to watch the CT Santa/Martians over the holiday.)
And as holiday “Boy and his ungulate” stories, is it actually MORE weird and depressing than the Disney/Don Bluth “The Small One”?
Isaac Bashevis Singer. Maurice Sendak. Gene Deitch. … How could this go so wrong????
It’s as if somebody took “Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny” and sucked all the joy and beauty and creativity out of it.
#2: I’m guessing Disney’s short didn’t include any Grapes-Of-Wrath-esque scenes involving action closeups of goat teats…
This is definitely worth the watching… Disturbing to be sure, but the guys handle it well, as always. :)
