I guess that it was pretty impressive that it was a $1,000 question. I sure glad that somebody knew that answer or it would have been somewhat awkward for everyone involved.

Is it good or bad that it’s a $1,000. That’s the highest value in single Jeopardy and it suggests a certain obscurity.

Something we fans tend to forget is that not everybody is familiar with the subject of our fandom. More often than not, a sizable chunk of the populationhas never heard of our favorite show/movie/book/whatever.

Nice! That guy should have received bonus cash for knowing the short and sweet way to say Mystery Science Theater 3000. He seemed overly excited to answer the question, but Crow can do that to anyone.
