I have to disagree with Joel on one small detail. I don’t think companies like Asylum who make movies for SyFy are trying to make bad movies. But to be fair, they’re not trying to make good movies either. It’s just typical pulp schlock, not meant to do anything more than make money back. I doubt they’re trying to do anything more than that.

Does anybody know yet who else is part of the “we” that Joel always mentions when talking about the reboot? Shout Factory? Best Brains/Jim Mallon? Very curious to know, since several other cast members have said they’re not really an active part of it (including members of Cinematic Titanic, like Frank).

Great to see the Paul Scheer comments in there, his podcast is wonderful and does create the same camaraderie between the hosts.
