Toni Ruberto of the Buffalo News (I love his title of “Gusto Editor”) gets an interview with Mike.
Previously…
Radio station KMXJ-FM “Mix 94.1” in Amarillo, Texas, interviewed Kevin about MST3K and RiffTrax and the upcoming live shows. And, to whoever wrote the web page copy, his name is Tim Serbo.
Drew Wood at Mpls St. Paul Magazine interviews Mike, Kevin and Bill.
Tim Serbo was okay, but I’ve always preferred the antics of Clow T. Reboot. I love his classic catchphrase “I know you desire me, fella!”

Tim Serbo and I are good friends. I’ve known him a long time. But who is Tom Survo?

Good interview! It’s so exciting to see all the success Rifftrax is enjoying.
This is a minor nitpick, but I think Kevin is misremembering Space Mutiny a bit: it reused the exterior effects footage from Battlestar Galactica, not the sets, and Reb Brown is American and not Canadian.

Actually, I believe it’s Htim Sirbeaux.

I’ve never needed a Rifftrax Live! presentation more than tonight’s. Today is the third freaking day of jury selection for this trial I was summoned for… a day we wouldn’t need if the judge didn’t like listening to the sound of his own voice so much. I’ll need some good comedy to unwind after today.

Here’s another local one(it’s pretty short and doesn’t cover anything new though):

Serbo: n. pl. bos (sur’ bö) 1. an ice cream delicacy served from the globular head of Tom Servo. 2. Hercules actor pun
Example in a sentence
I served Kevin Sorbo some serbo from Tom Servo.
Tom Servo: Well I have to say. It’s a lot better than monkey brains.

OK, which one is Servo and which one is Cow?

We really need to try harder to delineate between the J.Elvis Weinstein Tim Serbo and the Kevin Murphy Tim Serbo.

“Gusto Editor” is a reference to the Gusto magazine isert in the Buffalo paper. They used to sponsor “Gusto at the Gallery”, a free Friday night at the wonderful Albright Knox art gallery, years ago. The insert is concerned with all things entertainment/nightlife/activities, much like the “Red Eye” here in Chicago, except I think Gusto is only weekly (because, having lived in both cities, I can attest tot he fact that there is a *lot* less to do in Buffalo).
