Also, wow, 101 years old. That’s got to be a record.

ToolAssist–it’s just proof you can live to a ripe old age if you’ll just LOOK at railroad crossings.
Why don’t they look?
Also, no, the oldest MSTory person to die so far is Carl Esmond, who played Prof. Stefanik in the movie in episode 815- AGENT FOR H.A.R.M. He was 102 and about six months.

During a wiki search I read that the male lead in Design for Dreaming, Marc Breaux, died in November. He was a popular choreographer working in Mary Poppins and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang

Unless I’m very much mistaken, Robert Nichols, Kim Hamilton and Niogel Davenport were featured in this year’s “TCM Remembers” reel.
I’d still like to see some talented MSTie put together a similarly-tasteful tribute reel to those MST vets we lost in 2013.

Mrs. Dick Courier: Thanks for that! If you — or anybody! — ever see one that might have slipped by me, please alert me!

#6 Well, I guess you could do that with the episodes that are listed.
The ones off-camera (editor, writer, music, etc.), have the “best” (i.e. worst) clip played.
So, let’s say the writer for “Touch of Satan” died, play the clip of “This is where the fish lives.”
Editor for “Girl in Gold Boots” would have the clip of when Buzz “teleports.”

You forgot Elvin Feltner, the producer behind Teenage Strangler.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elvin_Feltner
He “claimed” he owned the rights for Women of the Prehistoric Planet and Godzilla v. Megalon through his Krypton International Films company. He “licensed” them to Rhino for Volumes 9 & 10, when he didn’t own them and that’s why those DVD sets quickly went out-of-print.
I e-mailed you that info earlier this year, Sampo.

What a great tribute to those who helped (inadvertently) to make Mst what it was. I didn’t realize how much we lost this past year.
Well done Sampo.

Projected Paul–can’t go by Wikipedia. When IMDB posts it, I will go with it.

For what it’s worth, I offer these. The MST3K connections may not be to standard, but here they are anyway:
Richard Matheson (February 20, 1926 – June 23, 2013) wrote the Twilight Zone episode “Nightmare at 20,000 Feet,” which was referenced by Mike in a riff during 821: Time Chasers: “There’s a man on the wing of the plane!”
Tom Clancy (April 12, 1947 – October 1, 2013) was referenced in Tom Servo’s riff in 622: Angels Revenge: “This Tom Clancy novel really loses something in the film version.”

Paul–it’s not that I don’t believe you, it’s that we have standards. I hope that whoever has control of Feltner’s IMDB page will update it soon.
Basil–Here’s how it works: We only count mentions from host segments, not from theater segments. If we tried to compile every reference in theater, that way madness lies. So, thanks, but neither of those apply.

Sampo, Projected Paul:
The update to Mr. Feltner’s IMDB bio has been submitted with supporting documentation. It’s in the review queue and probably won’t be applied until next week, week after at the latest.
