Suggest a three-song set of tunes from MSTed movies that would be the most punishing, a set that would ruin the evening of anyone who heard it.
I’m gonna go with:
1. The baby piano music from “Robot Monster”
2. The dah-duh-duh-duh-DAH-duh theme from “Beginning of the End” and
3. The Ukranian National Anthem from “Racket Girls.”
What’s your set?
Thanks to Christopher Carey, who had a slightly different suggestion, but whose idea I springboarded off of.
Please keep those suggestions coming!
Just wanted to pass on the news that Lou Reed, famed musician who was a member of The Velvet Underground and also wrote ‘Satellite Of Love’ has died.

I definitely agree with the earwormy awfulness of the above songs. Since hell works best when it’s subtle I’d have to go with these bland, wimpy or whiny offerings.
1) The bike song from Gamera vs Guiron. Cornjob will be blamed!
2) I wanna be happy today. I wanna be happy toooo-daaaeeeey. The band from Soultaker has this song and more available on handhewn wood cds!
3) The end credits from Final Justice. I think the guitar riff is by Eric Clap. Yes, Eric Clap.

Trying to find music not mentioned yet. Lots of bad music through the years to go through!
1. The song that Buffalo Bill sang at the Pit Stop in “Riding With Death”
2. The “It Hurts” song (by the “Leslie Bore” singer) in “Incredibly Strange Creatures”
3. The all-trumpet fanfare and dirge of a song when Jerry is walking around the near the train in “Incredibly Strange Creatures”

A killer showbiz set,
“Lonely Boy” by Paul Anka from Girlstown.
“The Glenn CLose Experience” sings “a-bling blang bloong” (or something) from Mixed-up Zombies.
“Shine your Love”, sung by Michelle (played by Greg Allman) from Angels Revenge.

Opening act: The Chinese kids from the opening of Santa Claus (Mexican version)
Orchestral interlude: Allert Glasser-scored accompaniment: Scene: The departure of the Viking Women by boat.
Big finish: Everybody dance! “Party scene” from “Monster a Gogo”.

No mention of the “Puma Man” flight and fight theme? I was mad at myself last night for forgetting to put it in my list.
Rifftrax has that recent movie, “Supersonic Man.” His theme music is also very bad and very, very funny.
I actually like “Night Train to Mundo Fine,” I’m easily impressed by deep, deep singing voices.

Imagine the above mentioned music/soundtracks/songs piped into the elevators carrying tourists visiting the Empire State Building.

There were so many bad songs in these bad movies. Where to begin? I think I’ll go with “Elaine” from the De-Aires, That goofy Choo-choo song sung by Juliet Prose in TISCWSLABMUZ. And for a lousy finale Paul Anka singing a sappy “Ave Maria” in Girlstown while Mamie Van Doren cries.
Actually, all three of these songs make me cry.

That horrible soft porn-sounding music they play during the “love” scenes in “Devil Fish.”

My terrible trio:
“OK Connery,” from Operation Double 007: I get it, lady, you really like him; now stop shouting at me, Shirley Bassey’s non-Union equivalent.
“Scuba Party,” from Catalina Caper: I sincerely hope Little Richard got paid in cash before them ushered him off the boat – or at least that he never had to watch the movie.
“I Know What I Like About You,” from Wild Rebels: Steve “Lame-o” is about right. Nobody gets any kicks from that song.

For people who grew up in the 80’s and hated it (like myself) just play any of that synthesized music from “Hobgoblins”.

Man, I love so many of these songs people say they don’t like.
I’m especially fond of Manos’s jazzy soundtrack.
I had to import me a copy of the OK Connery soundtrack. It’s great.
Catalina Caper has some fantastic songs.
I am still looking for the whole OST for Warrior of the Lost World.
The credits song for Space Mutiny is great.
The music in Pod People is great.
