Don: The Titans don’t pick a town and call venues till someone books them. Venues contact them. That means your job this whole time has been to contact venues in your area and ask why they haven’t booked them, or why they haven’t brought them back.

#1 Are you talking about the CT tour, or are saying New York and New Jersey are gone???
Hey did you ever hear of Boston? Yeah my friend the Titans are doing 2 shows in Mass.
It isn’t that far, make a weekend of it, if I meet you I’ll buy you a few brews.
I’ll be wearing a T-shirt that says I’m a Bass turd from Mass.
Or hi I’m a Masshole.
Don take the time to come here and catch the show or shows.
We would go to New Jersey to see Bruce Springsteen or New York to see The Dead.
This may be the last time we as fans get to meet these fine talented people as a group.
Still tickets out there, take the time to do this. You won’t be sorry you did.

I might be willing to drive 2 1/2 hours for a CT show AND free beers with Cap’n Ross. *hint hint* We’ve already seen Astral Factor though. (Not that it wouldn’t still be hysterical…) No way we could go all the way to Boston on a Sunday.
It really bugs me that they’re doing their big finale show on a friggin’ Monday. And I have a buddy in the Philly area with a spare room, too, but we can’t get those days off. *grumble* It can be a pain being an indispensable employee.

I’m in the NYC area & I’m just going to drive the 2 hours out to the Keswick to catch the final show. It’s a bummer we’re not getting a final one around here because it would definitely sell out (I mean, have you seen those Rifftrax screenings at Union Square Regal?? They sell out the largest theater AND add a second theater nearly every time!), but… eh, I bought my Keswick tickets months ago, have a place to stay & have the 31st off from work anyway.

I’m disappointed that they won’t be in NJ this time, but I did suggest it at several venues in the area, so it was out of my hands.
Weather permitting, I’m planning on going to the Keswick show. And, headline notwithstanding, I’m not convinced this is the absolute last time CT will be around.

The CT gang plans to leave an indelible post performance mark on San Francisco when they careen through the city while pretending they are in a car chase during an episode of The Streets Of San Francisco.
And yes, the suspension of the apple green Dodge Super Bee will be reinforced in preparation of being airborne and non airborne in exciting hump jumping intervals as they chase down boxed rice and phantom streetcars and occasionally screaming “Hey, Stella!” for some reason.
(Whizzing ((flying?)) by at incredible speeds, and packed to the gills with the CT cast, the car might be mistaken for a green turtle full of meat.)
That CT is one classy bunch.
Somewhere, Karl Malden is smiling.
We all are.

Curiosity question here…
Does anyone know why they only did SAMSON a few times?

After his ‘Riffing Myself’ show in Seattle back in March, I asked Joel, in earshot of the Seattle Film Fest guy who introduced him, if CT might be booked in the same venue this year. Joel ruled out the possibility and said that CT was booked for the rest of the year, and that they were disbanding at the end of the year. Joel was quite nice about it and thanked me for asking. So, I tried. He had a full theater for ‘Riffing Myself’, and I was a bit surprised that CT decided to skip Seattle for their farewell. I hope they release ‘Astral Factor’ and ‘Doll Squad’ on DVD and that this isn’t the last we hear from the CT crew.

#6 Goshzilla: I’m thinking of wearing a ” HELLO MY NAME IS ” sticker on my shirt.
I don’t know if this will be a good idea or not. I’ll run it by my wife and see
what she thinks. Maybe I can get her to make some chili peppers even though they
burn my gut.The free beers is not an all night thing but I’d have a few with you.
$ 425.00 later my wife will be saying “Did you have to but beer for everyone that
said their name was Goshzilla?” “Did you check to see if that was the name on their
ID?”

To my own #13. I meant to type——
Did you have to buy beer. Not but beer.
Keep in mind kids the Captn. is old and never took
typing in school so I chicken pick and well the (Y)
is next to the (T) and —– anyway.

Let’s cut to the chase here – Are there any more dvds or downloads going to be released? We need to know.
Astral Factor? Doll Squad? Maybe a live Wasp Woman?
Any of you Titans know? Is this thing on?
