Happy birthday Mike! I’m celebrating mine as well today. The Brain that Wouldn’t Die is ready to be cued!

The October 24 live Rifftrax show – with over 600 participating theaters – referenced in the interview should be a lot of fun. I may attend that son of a gun.
It could serve as a soothing balm† to the pain of my being unable to attend any of the CT shows.
(Riffing Night of the Living Dead! You don’t see that everyday.)
†Is “balm” or “salve” preferred? Should I have used “poultice”? Wait. I’ve got it!
(wait for it)
“Mustard plaster.”

Happy Birthday, Mike!
We’re the same age (okay, I’m a few months older than you, but we were born in the same year). Which crappy B-movie premiered on the day you were born? HORROR OF PARTY BEACH premiered on the day I was born, and I will be forever proud of that. Only MANOS would be cooler than that–so I throw the gauntlet, my friend! :-)

That’s interesting about kids being offput by the lack of robots, but I’ve noticed that most Rifftrax, their VODs at least, aren’t exactly kid friendly. Not so much the movies, but much of the humor.

Mike’s no longer on the west coast? I had no idea. Is he back in Minnesota?
