Following the Saturday, Aug. 10, performance there will be a question-and-answer session with Jackey Raye Neyman Jones (little “Debbie” from the movie) and Bryan Jennings (the son of the actor who played the sheriff). I like this part:
“Despite the presence of puppets, the show is not recommended for patrons under the age of 14. (adult language, bizarre sexual situations)” Whoa.
A raunchy puppet show? I always had my suspicions about those little creepy guys, including the hedonistic hell-raiser Howdy Doody.
“Bizarre sexual situations” involving puppets. It sounds like scout camp when I was a kid. Right? Doesn’t it? Ehem. Never mind.
Not since “Meet the Feebles” will there be a puppet show more vile.. And hopefully as entertaining. Too bad I live so far away (doesn’t anyone stay in one place, anymore?).
You had me at “Hands Of Felt.” “Bizarre sexual situations” is just glaze on the donut.
#1 I believe when he acted in bizarre sexual situations Howdy changed his last name to Doodle.
#4 Hands of felt, glaze on the donut. Sounds like lyrics from a Zappa song.
“Hands of felt glaze on the donut” is my favorite Ferlinghetti poem.
I think I am in love with Goshzilla! Haha, just kidding around. But, still.
Go Washington! Woo!
I saw this last year. The “bizzare sexual situations” referes to their recreation of a rape scene editted out of the MST3K episode. Still a great show, with increasingly surreal humor.
