I thought this pathetically unscary vampire movie would be a good choice for MST3K back when it was still on the air. Lots of pausing and padding, moronic dialogue, graveyard prancing and general Europey goofiness. The riffing in the sample isn’t too promising, though. Always with the dated “last month” pop culture references….

Sorry, that was uncalled for. Already read a good review, too.

Fangs are so overrated. I mean, really we all have them. But like breasts and sclongs they are aaaaaaalll different shapes and sizes. So get out of here with your living dead *slightly larger* fangs than mine. :p

Castle Monster, where do you read your Rifftrax reviews?

I haven’t watched it yet, but the title immediately tells me is European, Italian more specifically, directed by Bruno Mattei or Lucio Fulci perhaps?

Neptune Man: It IS European, but it was actually directed by Spanish director Amando de Ossorio. He was most famous for the Blind Dead movies. Hope this helps!

Thanks Nick. Maybe I mixed this movie with Hell of the Living Dead.

The guy who plays Pierre, Anita Ekberg’s fiancee, sounds like he was dubbed by the same guy who did Neil Connery’s voice in Operation Double 007. The movies were made around the same time and they sound exactly alike. I couldn’t find any more info about who did the dubbing though. I read somewhere a while back that Neil couldn’t do his own dubbing for the English version because he had tonsilitis or something like that at the time.

Watched it. A pretty solid outing overall. The chick, Blinka, was in Super Agent Super Dragon. The movie is a lot of fun.

A main character named Sylvia and not one Dr Hook riff until three-quarters into the film? What were they thinking? Other than that, it was quite good.

So Rifftrax is just going to keep pumping these out? Thank you!!! I actually think they are riffing more movies yearly than when they were on MST3K (not that I actually did the math). ?:-)

They are riffing about the same number of films per year now that they did during the longer seasons of MST. Good days. May it never end.

As much as I love MST3K, it would be nice to see an episode guide for the Rifftrax VOD stuff. Just to freshen things up.

I just wish CT was also able to bring out new material. Perhaps not as often as RT, given the situation, but more often.

Yeah, I miss CT already–time to jump on the rifftrax wagon, since I can buy actual dvds–
