It takes an entire short to say “Before someone gets hurt”?

I was going to go with “When it stops being funny to watch.”

How about “Before Frank starts a flame war or storms off in a huff.”

Just before one kid bites off the other’s ear. You don’t want to stifle their creativity, but you also don’t want to pay for reconstructive surgery.

When someone dies? Man–the title is pure gold.
I’m reminded of watching a fight when we were in the sixth grade. A kid we all knew (and liked) broke up with his girlfriend–and then she picked a fight with him! We were shamelessly amused to watch him lose the fight in a big, big way (yes, he was beat up by a girl), and fortunately there were no grown-ups in sight. Nobody died that day, but I wonder if he ever found another girlfriend.

Of course, before the hormones have kicked in, girls are nearly always ahead developmentally than boys, so losing a fight to a girl before high school is nothing to be ashamed of (except for possibly getting into that position in the first place — running is ALWAYS the best option before any fight. Although at that age perhaps she could run faster than him as well).
Not that there aren’t plenty of grown women who could kick the butts of a lot of men (ah, let the fantasies begin, fan boys!). To bring it back on point — somehow this reminds me about “The Violent Years”. I wonder why.

When should grownups stop fights?
When the kid you’re betting on looks like he might lose, of course.

This short….hoooo-boy it was a tough one to get through, at least the final five minutes or so where it basically repeated itself. I’ve got to give it up for Mike, Kevin and Bill for not getting up and leaving. If I were running Rifftrax (yea, right  ) I might have argued for not releasing this short onto an unsuspecting public even with some of the really good riffs…but I don’t run Rifftrax and I’m sure some people out there LOVE this short to pieces :struggle:

Wow, does this twisted thing bring back memories. bad memories. Some kids was pushing me around and the idiot teacher did nothing. He didn’t even care. He made fun of it, later. Atleast, I got to leave that stupid school that year and he didn’t. Advantage: Me. :)

You mean some adults STOP the fights? I wasn’t ever made aware that was even an option as I attempted to drag my bloodied, bruised, and broken body off the playground and back to class…
