Heh… It’s “Please God, I’m Only 17: The Movie (a Dear Abby joint)”.
Probably says a lot about me that I find their death shorts to be the most hilarious. :-)
Another short already?
I’m convinced RiffTrax only exists because God wanted me in the poorhouse. :P
Sounds a bit creepy. Not that it will stop me from watching it. :P
Jesus…this is one of, if not the most depressing and/or haunting things Rifftrax has ever done. Which would be a good Weekend Discussion topic: What is the most depressing short and/or film from MST3K or any other related projects (Rifftrax, Cinematic Titanic, etc.)?
So that’ not delightful cotton candy those nice 70s folks are displaying here… ? it’s not…?

I thought the “based on a true story” short with three 13-year old kids getting killed (and a fourth paralyzed for life) was a downer – if this one is even worse I’ll be both surprised and dismayed.
One of the early shorts about kids getting abused and neglected by their parents was damn depressing, too.

Oh dang, I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen the “based on a true story” short. What is the name of it?
Also, this one is pretty bad, but it’s the incredibly abrupt and haunting ending that really does it. They don’t even have credits, it just cuts to the happy-go-lucky Rifftrax logo…

That one is “Joy Ride” if I’m remembering correctly.
