Holy crap! I saw this short when I was in first grade, and it stuck with me for years! I’m stunned that it has suddenly turned up again after all this time! In RiffTrax form!

This was a pretty damn good one. Reminded me more of the old MST3K happy Mike.

This is a good short for them to do.Incognito Cinema Warriors riffed this on their 4th dvd when they riffed the movie WEREWOLF IN A GIRL’S DORMITORY…very funny,I might add.

This is one of those shorts that probably looked decent on paper (well, maybe not) but suffers from being way too long to get its point across. Still, this is tailor-made for the Rifftrax crew with plenty of bowl-haircut jokes, although I was somewhat surprised that they didn’t hit a pretty obvious point even harder. With the bus in danger of tipping over, everyone left on the bus are dead calm (no panicking? no screaming?) Obviously, the acting coach wasn’t present that day. 8-)

@Bat Masterson- I don’t mean to dump on Mike here, but I’ve kinda missed “happy Mike”, too (if I understand you correctly). Kevin and Bill seemed to maintain that mst style of voicing and attitude. It’s like having Tom and Crow but now they call themselves Kevin and Bill for some reason.
However, Mike’s delivery of his lines seem a little forced and unnatural versus his riff delivery on mst. It’s gotten better, and my last few rt purchases I’ve found myself feeling like I was watching my favorite puppet show again.
Just my two cents.

If only they’d do the more recent “Ghost Rider”. What an awful, awful movie.

That was a really good short. I can’t believe Tracy got re-killed like that though. And WOW, that purple jacket.

Of course the only riffs that stuck with me were the ones regarding the anticipation of Nicholas Cage peeing fire and the disappointment in realizing that it wouldn’t come until the sequel.
Definitely worth my 99 cents!

I too totally remember seeing this in non-riffed from when I was very young. It always stuck with me as a particularly odd example of education film-making, as there seems to be a lot more ghost than bus safety info. I remember kinda wanting a ghost girlfriend at the time.
