I think it’s sad to see people selling stuff, I mean people go to the shows and get these guys to sign stuff and they rush home and sell it.
I think they’ll end up charging people at the CT/ RIFFTRAX shows for autographs. I saw a signed CT cast picture you could order from them or get signed at a show for $75.00. I don’t know it seems wrong to me.

The items I have signed by members of the cast won’t ever be sold until I am dead. That will be one hell of a sale…

Umm,guys, did you miss the part about 100% of the proceeds going to charity?

I have a problem with people selling stuff that CT or Rifftrax have signed as well.To me,if you’re a true fan,you wouldn’t sell it at all.No matter what.I guess they need the cash real bad and figure they can get a lot for whatever they’re selling…And since it’s going to charity, couldn’t the person just donate the money without selling the poster? I’d rather donate the money myself as opposed to parting with something that means a lot to me..To each his own,I guess..

I am sorry I saw this as I was heading out the door, and didn’t see or even notice the AUCTION was for CHARITY.
I did miss that part, and I used it to vent about people that sell CT/ RIFFTRAX stuff after these cool folks sit around at shows to meet and greet the fans. I’m very sorry for being such a bonehead.

Perhaps Joel knew it was for charity when he signed it. Just a thought.

Hey guys, just wanted to clarify… this poster is 100% for charity. My boyfriend and I went to riffing myself, and we each got a poster because of it. We kept one for our home together, and we are selling one for charity. The charity is the American Diabetes Association. My boyfriend has type 1 diabetes so this charity is an important one to both of us. We asked Joel if it was alright to sell it for $ for the ADA. He said that was fine and we had him personalize it to say “check your feet every day”
SO we kept one for ourselves. We are selling one and not keeping any of the money for ourselves.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion in regards to selling things from special events, and I accept and respect that. I just wanted to clarify for those that maybe haven’t checked out the info in the auction.
Thanks to everyone who has taken a look and anyone who has put in a bid! 2 days left and so far the ADA is getting $56. We’re very happy, and thankful for everyone on here who has taken the time out to check out this auction. And very thankful for this getting posted up on the site to gain exposure. I hope you all have a great day, and if you get a chance to see Riffing Myself… Do it, it was so much fun!

I just want to say I hope I didn’t upset anyone trying to do a good thing. I would love to find a way to get a CT show at our Hospital in Burlington MA. and have some of the money go to a new ER that they need. But like when people win the lottery they get all kinds of people that all have real needs but how much can you do? To anyone that takes the time no matter how big or small to help people in need I say thanks for having a heart and concern to show love to others.

Hannah, I think this is great. Having Type II diabetes myself I immediately understood the “check you feet every day.” Congratulations on the sale.
