Brandy, you’re a fine reviewer, what a good essayist you would be.

Short, to the point, no extra quibble.

Even though Joel pooh-poohs (like that word :>) any chance of a CT/RiffTrax get together, he hasn’t ruled out any “MST3K” reunion show (although he hints that seeing all together might be more disappointing than the expectations — hey, that’s a true possibility of almost any creative project you undertake and he should be man enough to chance it).
I still think a silver anniversary reunion would be perfect. They need to at least start thinking about it now — even if it takes a year or two to accomplish (and even if it’s only a one-off deal) I think it would be the ultimate gift to all of us who’ve been fans for so long. The bots, Joel and Mike — can’t you pass that along to them, Sampo?

This is completely off-topic, but I just got my 20th Anniversary box yesterday and I’ve been so excited I have to share it with SOMEone!
Yeehaw, best Halloween ever!
Ok, thanks, we now return you to your regularly scheduled programming.

The answer regarding the therapeutic qualities of MST3k was kind of enlightening.
I don’t see Joel being comfortable about doing a rifftrax as he alluded to in his answer about performing for an audience-though I wouldn’t mind seeing (or hearing)some guest or cameo appearances (or voices)in either’s project. I know Mary Beth has done a rifftrax.

Now that I’ve taken the time to read the interview w/Brandy…I’m quite impressed with her! I hate interviews that are all pre-written questions, with no indication that the interview has actually listened to the answers. This one sounds like a conversation with real information in it.
And I’m so happy Joel’s happy about revisiting MST3K. I wish I could send all the MST3K alumni a big “THANK YOU” for all the fun and laughter. I guess by buying the set, I sent them a little “thank you.”

So Joel moved to Pennsylvania. Seems appopriately random. Avoid the rioting fans, Joel!

Yeah, Trace mentioned Joel was on the East Coast now in that podcast recently. I assumed he meant NY. Who would have thought Hollywood Joel would move at all? He seems happy though.

I am one of those people who watched a lot of MST3K through a horrible depression and partially credit it with my recovery. I still think I’m a TOTAL WEIRDO for this, but it’s amazing to hear straight from Joel that I’m not the only one!!! Wow!!!
