I saw the guys on Twin Cities Live earlier this evening. Joel and Trace did a fine a job and even though asked a few times by the interviewers they are not nervous about performing live.
If I had seen the announcement earlier I may have had time to make it to the studio, but I just got a chance to check emails. Oh, well. At least I got to see them on the show.

I live in Minnesota, and just my luck, I didn’t get to see it. My cable just happens to cut out about 2:30 and it still wasn’t back on until after 4pm (I work overnights and had to sleep sometime) Charter sucks. Maybe they’ll have a replay on their website.

It was a great show, and I’m happy to say my colossal episode guide has now been signed by Mike, Kevin, Bill, Joel, Trace, Frank, Josh and Mary Joe. Now I just need to track down Jim and Paul at some point.

The CT Live show tonight was tremendously funny. We traveled a long way to see it, but it was worth it. Great beyond words.
I hope they do a show in Washington, D.C. or Baltimore sometime. We’d love to see CT Live again. Maybe if all the MSTies in the D.C./Baltimore area put in requests for a show in our area, we’ll get lucky some day. There is a forum on the CT website: http://cinematictitanic.com/wpmu/

The CT Live show tonight was fantastic. We really loved it and it was well worth the plane ride from Maryland to see it.

I’d like to see a montage of all of Joel’s explanations of how he got the idea for MST3k.

Does anyone know the Elton John cover art image Joel was referring to in the latest “where did you get the idea for MST” answer? I looked it up online, but I don’t see any sillhouettes. Can anyone link to a scan of what he meant?
Great clip, btw. Thanks for the link, Bobo.)
