Oh. My. God. You know, we mostly watched slideshow filmstrips when I was in school, and man oh man were some of those strange, but nowhere near as goofy as the ones featured on MST and Rifftrax. I realize I’m not stating anything new, but what was going through these folks’ heads?

I’m still trying to figure out why “A Case of Spring Fever” exists. Apparently money for educational short films was just lyin around back in the forties, fifties, and sixties.

I really needed to see this, I really got a kick out of it. I’ve been going through some sad times the past few weeks and don’t find much to laugh at, but the movies on DVD and things like this short help a lot. As I’ve said in the past all connected to MST have helped me deal with some pretty tough times. And this site has been a big part of helping me cope. To all connected to this site keep on laughing, and keep supporting this page and THE ONLY SHOW THAT MATTERS.

Captain Ross-completely understood, and I agree. I can’t imagine where I’d be without this good-natured silliness in my life.

Oh wow. I think I actually have this short (sans riffs, of course) on 16mm. Encyclopedia Britannica, if I’m not mistaken. I haven’t actually run it yet (only inspected the head when I first got it), nor watched more than the sample, so I’m not certain.

#8 It’s really weird but whenever I see a movie after it’s been riffed I feel like something is missing with the sound. You know like if you had on headphones and one speaker cuts out. I saw a Godzilla movie one time and it was like whats wrong with this movie? I think I’ll try and watch MANOS un-riffed and see what happens. Also my wife can’t watch a movie on Lifetime without me riffing on it, I get SHHHHHH! I’m trying to hear this!
