M’eh. I don’t know. It sounds like the entire first half of the movie is just… nothing. This might be a snoozer. Also, these small-time backwoods movie operations just scare me, i.e. “Galaxy Invader” and this horrible, horrible, God-awful bigfoot movie called “Search for the Beast”. (Seriously, I want that movie’s memory removed from my brain ala “Total Recall”).
Who and I kidding? Two tickets for “Rifftrax Live” on October 25th please!!!

GizmonicTemp: If anything, the first half of “Birdemic” was actually easier for me to sit through than the second half (I’ve watched it unriffed three times in the past month to prep myself). After the first couple of bird attacks, the “sameness” just got to me. But there’s still plenty to laugh at… should be a great show! (And here’s hoping they do eventually do a live theater riff of “The Room”…)

I’ve sat through this turkey unriffed, and I have to say it is somewhat grueling. This could very likely be one of the very lamest attempts at filmmaking in the entire riffing canon. Just utterly incompetent on every level of the production; It makes Space Mutiny look like 2001: A Space Odyssey. It is so profoundly stupid that you’ll be convinced it was either made by a mentally challenged patient off their meds or a brilliant satirist.
I can’t wait.
