AMAZING!!1! I am so happy with the Rifftrax crew and how fast they’re putting out content. As soon as I start to wonder what movie I want to see BAM! a new Rifftrax.

Another Rifftrax? Didn’t these guys just get $12 from me last Thursday? I believe their plan is to keep putting out stuff until they have all our money and we become the equivalent of serfs to them. I personally welcome Kevin, Mike and Bill as our new overlords and thank them for another VOD.

#1 I wish that Ed had released a 100 movies. The Rifftrax and CT troupes more so than I.

I have to say, I really love how they are doing these things as opposed to the hollywood blockbuster stuff that Rifftrax started off with. It really is like the last couple years of MST3K, minus the painfully unfunny skits.

Thank you for the good writeup. It if truth be told was a leisure account it. Glance complex to more delivered agreeable from you! However, how can we be in contact?

I was trying to find a better quality copy of this (the real title is apparently BODY OF THE PREY) in hopes CT might do it. RiffTrax is REALLY cranking these out!

I’m enjoying buying the VODs, so hopefully they keep coming. My problem is finding the time to watch them all

Watched the first 20 or so minutes of this incomprehensible mess last night.
Freakin’ bizarre. And this from a diehard Ed Wood fan.

Why is it every bad film out there now is linked to Ed Wood. This one is said to have been written by him. I’ve seen it. Yeah, it stinks, but it doesn’t have that Wood feel to it. I think someone found this old stinker, knows Wood films have a market, and lo-and-behold – a “lost” Ed Wood film. Show me the proof that Ed wrote it and then it’s OK to plug it as a Wood film.

They might get some riffs from this film, but the movie itself is so boring. Been some years of course, but I think nothing really happens in it until the last half hour maybe? It’s like THE STARFIGHTERS.

And we all know that Starfighters is hilarious, don’t we? Yes, we do.

#15 – Hmm, well, the “Ed Wood wrote it” story is not a new one. I recall first reading about it in the (now old and venerable) Psychotronic Video Guide. Michael Whelan never led me astray before, so I have little reason to doubt it. Ed was a prolific writer, churning out lots of scripts and even more cheap porn novels. After people stopped giving him money to direct, writing was pretty much his only way of making money.
But, I admit I have no firm proof he wrote it, nor have I yet seen the movie (although I will be delighted to do so, as soon as I can carve out a block of time to DL this VOD). You assert that the film doesn’t have the Ed Wood touch…for me, the acid test is the dialogue. I think I’ll know within three or four lines whether Ed did, in fact, write this movie.

I saw this movie (Dr X revenge) as part of the 50-movie DVD for $10 set, which also included Track of the Moon Beast and several Bill Rebane movies (stay far away). Dr X was one of the more memorable ones, distinguished for its lack of a protagonist. Our main character is a really angry selfish scientist, who meets his assistant’s Asian cousin and immediately takes over her family’s estate; using her for sex, money, verbal abuse, slave labor, and darn good scientific research. And then there’s the 10 minute scene with no dialogue while the topless lady divers go looking for pearls and such. Yes, Ed Wood’s fingerprints are all over this. A fine example of a goofy mutated monster, in the tradition of It Conquered the World and Attack of the the Eye Creatures. This one really leaves you scratching your head.

I can see Wood in the script, not in the direction.
Still, a enjoyable bad movie. The riffing is normal RT fare. Like it or don’t.
