Has there been any word of what short or shorts may accompany the performance? Perhaps the complete Hired!?
It begins.
Sitting Duck-as much as I’m sure I would love some new bizzarre shorts, those were my picks too.
I’d almost rather watch her watch Manos, than watch Manos.
Sorry to go all pervy on you guys.
Only seen from the waist up.
No pants on her?
Alright! A local mention.
I actually worked for the Press-Enterprise myself, uh, for a short time – until I figured out how early those papers had to be delivered.
The video was giving us a technical issue and we had to remove it. Sorry.
Video’s back up. I take all glitches fixed?
BTW: I CAN GO!!!!!!!!! My dad wants to see this one so I’ll be at the Regal 20 Cinema with him this year. He’s in a ride. Oh boy!
Gael Fashingbauer Cooper?
Is that a real name? Good lord.
Maybe not Hired!, but I think another Jam Handy short would be appropriate.
The only hint I’ve seen about the shorts is a post from Bill. He says that one of the two shorts is from the same people who posed the eternal question: “Is corn grass?”
Can’t wait for this. And I’ll get to see it in Colorado with my friends from Quiptracks!
I am hoping Mike is in costume as Torgo for part of it.
Laura,
I believe I fixed the video problem. It should be good to go on all browsers.
@Erhardt,
I was curious what the problem was in the first place. I personally never had any problem viewing the video in Chrome, so I was rather shocked to learn about the glitch. Her reaction would probably be about what I would give if I had never seen “Manos” before. My dad is in for it on Thursday. Can’t say I didn’t warn him!
The Master will not be pleased with her reaction.
But Torgo wants to know if she’s currently dating.
Bought my tix today!!
If the short(s) is/are Hired, I will kiss whoever is sitting next to me. (You have been warned.)
Anyone attending the theater at Neshaminy Mall?
A girl! Quick, hide the comic books!
“Probably the worst movie I’ve ever seen.” Hooray, “Manos” has lost none of its magic!!!
Can anyone tell me if I can get Manos tickets at the door? I’m 95% sure I can go on Thursday but am afraid to buy an advanced ticket in case that 5% rears its ugly head. :-/
Just bought my tickets via Fandango! Got five people going to the Rochester (NY) show.
ptomreeves: Yep. Might want to call your local theatre just to see what the ticket situation is, though.
Looks like Birdemic tickets have already gone on sale on Fandango.com

The horror of it all!
Schippers: Yes.
So let me get this straight. RiffTrax is going to release a feature length VOD of this girl just watching Manos and all we see is her. No riffs. Just her…Well, all right then. I am so totally OK with that.
Gael wins.
So she’s not going to be at the show?
That makes me sad.
…Cylinders! I am happy again!
I have to check out Boxes.
“At your fingertips: cylinders.” With a nightmare fuel powered cardboard robot to boot. This short looks to be fantastic. Ready for Thursday…
Same two theatres in town are doing Birdemic. BONUS.
More ACI insanity… awesome. :-D
How early does one need to arrive for the pre-show stuff? Not seeing any info on that anywhere.
The Rifftrax Facebook page says 30 minutes before showtime.
Ah, Grass, Boxes and Cylinders, the infamous “At Your Fingertips” trilogy, based on the novels written by Robert Bloch, and William F Nolan, and Stephen King, and Clive Barker. The lengend says that it’s scarier than It’s Pat and Happy Gilmore combined.
One more day to go…everyone please promise not to yell out the jokes from the episode like this was Rocky Horror? Pretty please? They’ve promised new jokes, and I’d like to hear them. I’ll be wearing my “It’s the devil and it’s fun!!” shirt, but I’m not going to scream it. :)
I was actually hopeful that in the spirit of them revisiting a classic, they’d re-riff the complete “Mr. B Natural” now that it was found.
I wish I had thought making such a video. I am a girl, and while I may not be cute, I do react to things.
My many and varied reactions include, but are not limited to:
1. Deadpan silence
2. Bored silence
3. Amused silence
4. Why are you talking to me? silence
You can learn more about my reactions by…. well actually there is no way. Sorry.
My local AMC theater is advertising for this movie, but they are not showing it. The only theater showing it is in Springfield, IL, over 50 miles away. Anyone else having this problem?
One question when it comes to the live riffing of Birdemic in October: anyone else tempted to bring a coat hanger to their local theater showing?
@ Duck 182:
Yup. When I went to see TDKR at AMC in the Galleria only 5 minutes away from me they had a poster up and played the ad before the trailers. 16 screens and they can’t spare one for just one evening? So I have to drive an hour (each way) into accursed New Jersey. But it is a nicer theater, at least. And maybe we’ll get there early enough to visit the Lego store.
#32 (Neptune Man):
There are actually THREE MORE (six in all) of these ACI “At Your Fingertips” shorts:
Floats – “Demonstrates to children some of the inventive craft possibilities of floats. Includes how to make paddle boats, sail boats, and rafts.”
Play clay – “Shows how to combine flour, salt, and water to make a pliable dough which can be modelled like clay. Illustrates how this play clay can be dyed with vegetable coloring before modeling, or painted with tempera after drying. Demonstrates the modeling of various forms.”
Sugar and spice – “Shows children some of the inventive craft possibilities of sugar and spice. For elementary grades.”
The Maaaaster likes beautiful women!
Yes, Gael wins…but it’s a Pyrrhic victory.
39: Aaah! It’s madness, it’s madness!
It was good. In McLean VA. Good crowd. 75% full.
Just got around to viewing this. You know, I think there could be a recurring series in here. “Cute girls reacts to…” anything, really.
