Is it a coincidence that this is also the current trailer over at Trailers From Hell?
And yet another film I had been eyeballing as potential riffing material. :-D

“TROJAN MAAAN!”
I must say I sincerely approve of the Rifftrax team’s title selections. I hope most of their fans feel the same way.
I’ve been a fan of BPoH since I first saw it on Reel Wild Cinema back in the 90s. This is one of the more prolific public domain titles out there so it’s a wonder it was never picked for riffing before. They might have been sheepish about the torture scenes on network television back in the day, though. The star antagonist, Mickey Hargitay, is most famous for having once been married to Jayne Mansfield.

This should be good and if it eventually comes out on dvd, then I’ll have it twice. How,you say? Because Incognito Cinema Warriors XP did it a year or 2 ago.Excellent episode..http://www.icwxp.com/Merch/BloodyProductPage.html Check it out!

Oh, hot damn’ diggety. I still haven’t bought Mesa Of Lost Women yet, and I’m already behind.
Still, this can only be made of awesome. I own an original (un-riffed) copy of Bloody Pit Of Horror that I downloaded from archive.org — I first saw it on the old Count Gore DeVol’s Saturday Chiller as a young teenager in DC back in the early ’70s — and I gotta tell ya, when I first saw it again for the first time in over thirty years, it was just as bad/good as I remembered it. I said it back then and I’ll say it now — nobody but nobody makes bad horror movies quite like the Italians.

Pretty good rifftrax, very bad movie, I was surprised to notice how short it was when it was all over. A very draggy movie that seems longer than it is. Quite a bit of “TOCHAAA!” in it, though.
“Hey that mace looks heavy, pal! Don’t let the mace wind you! ha ha ha….I’ll see myself out.”

I am so far behind on Rifftrax, no thanks to no income. :-(( Things better start changing soon because I won’t be able to attend both live shows this year if I still can’t find a job.

Nice! I’ll look forward to when they release it on DVD. The Galaxy Invader was OK, but The Crater Lake Monster was hilarious! Can’t wait for Mesa of Lost Women, too.

This may have been asked before, but since RT is doing more public domain titles, do RT and CT keep each other informed about which movies each will be doing, so as not to inadvertently create a conflict?

Rifftrax, I love you!

I noticed (having watched the Cinema Warriors dvd several dozen times) that a few shots/scenes have been cut out of the Rifftrax print. They mention it for the breaking & entering content, but I fell asleep during the Rotating Cone of Swords part, where there other shots cut out? Its even MORE confusing of a movie with the edits, if that were possible.

Excellent! An Italian cheesefest filmed in glorious PSYCHOVISION! It only neeeded th Rifftrax guys to make it perfect.

I’m about halfway into this one and not going crazy over it. Maybe it’s because I’ve been spoiled by how great the rifftrax have been lately- BRAINIAC is hilarious- or maybe it’s because I’ve already seen this movie before. I don’t regret buying it or anything, but would prefer to discover new-to-me weird movies like CURSE OF BIGFOOT or FRANKENSTEIN ISLAND.`

Laura has been unemployed longer than Norm from Cheers.

@Jbagels:
You ain’t kidding. Twenty-seven months. :weep: It’s not from a lack of trying. I am trying. Getting no response from employers isn’t helping my situation at all.
As soon as I get some kind of employment and am able to secure another credit card, I will be be purchasing every Rifftrax short and VOD I can. I really miss them.

Best of luck, Laura! Hope you find something that you like soon. And by “like” I mean something that pays you fairly and regularly.
