Very nice of the guy from Colorado Springs to do a review considering they’ll never come to Colorado.

Who’s Laura?

Laura’s a very sad commenter who pops up whenever Cinematic Titanic is mentioned to remind everyone that she’s protesting CT until they come to Atlantic City. People always try to tell her to hop on a bus to Philly or make the short drive but she says she can’t afford it. Apparently, it even makes Sampo want to strangle her.

Read the comment sections for Cinematic Titanic live tour schedules for more info. Be warned, I did and actually got sick to my stomach. Two observations from that: 1. Unemployed, but can afford internet and downloading? 2. Same person on some threads responding too many times to them. They’re after attention, and even negative attention is attention. So I better stop cause this is attention and giving them false security about themselves.
Here’s hoping that CT returns to MN next year so I can see Astral Factor and Samson.
Good wishes to all and hope you have a Patrick Swayse Christmas.

Nice Jan-in-the-Pan impression, Brandon.

Phoenix? Come onnnnn, Phoenix. Two years in a row now….gotta say I’m getting a tad nervous looking at the schedule, as they have usually stopped in Phoenix around Mar/Apr.

People who protest and ban CT for not coming right to their city annoy me. Heck, I’m going to Durham, NC which is 169 miles. But it will be worth it.
Just hop on a bus and go already people!

#17-Yeah, I’m driving 2 1/2 hours and even staying overnight to go see the show in Greenville, SC but as you say, it will be worth it. I cannot wait!

# 17 I hope you don’t think I ( #4 ) are protesting CT for not doing a show in Boston. They’ve been here or close by every time they’ve toured and Hartford CT. and Schenectady NY. are close to us but the weather and travel at this time is a little tough. I would rather take the subway ( the thing that rides on tracks not the sub shop.) That’s right a ride from the suburbs into Boston means more money for dinner and drinks and a CT show. Who could ask for anything more? Sure it’s lazy / easy but keep in mind a lot of the subway tunnels smell like pee and you run the risk of getting grouped and seeing some scary people. Just hop on the bus Gus, sounds like a plan Stan ( or in this case Mrs. Dick Courrier ) Anyway I know you’ll have fun at the show and be sure to stick around for the meet and greet after…

Home from work very sick. going to watch DANGER IN TIKI ISLAND. This will be the 3rd. live show I’ve watched in a row, only wish I got WAR OF THE INSECTS on DVD. This is the first time I didn’t order the movie when it first came out. Have all the discs and had them all signed at shows, if they come to Boston I’ll have War of the Insects signed at the show. I hope to get to a show soon, watching the discs makes me want to see them live.

Just finished watching movie and went to CT web site and when I checked to see if they had any new t-shirts I saw they had no t-shirts at all…
I hope they do more, but maybe t-shirts are a pain to keep in stock, DVDS and Posters are better to keep track of and tour with I guess. I only wish I ordered them when they had them, oh well live and learn.

I bought my tickets to the Durham show ages ago. Excited! Anyway, slightly off topic, but I’m just now getting acclimated to CT (I know, I know…). I got the Santa Claus Conquers the Martians DVD for Christmas, and it definitely lived up to the hype. My question is: what are the live DVDs like? Crowd noise? Silhouettes? Picture quality? Also, re: the actual shows, what are the chances for a meet and greet/autograph signing after the show?

@24 bartcow…The live dvd’s are not as stiff as the studio dvd’s.You can hear the crowd laugh/giggle a little, but it doesn’t drown out the riffs or the dialogue of the movie. No silhouettes.Perfect picture quality.I’d get ALIEN FACTOR and WAR OF THE INSECTS to start off with first..They always have a meet and greet after the show,so yeah, your chances are real good.Have fun and be sure to tell all of us about it,ok?

OOPS I hit the wrong button big time. As I was saying #24 the first show I saw in Boston was East meets Watts and it was the first live show they did on DVD. It was a great show and was real cool to experience it live on DVD. Id say get all the live DVDS and on the Danger on Tiki Island they show behind the scenes footage with CT crew meeting fans. I’ve seen 5 shows and the meet and greet is real cool. I’ve got all 10 CT DVDS signed as well as the 20TH Anniv. Tin, the single DVDS Manos, and The Crawling Eye, Traces Silly Rhymes book and two single postcards from 1992 one of Frank and one of Trace. Keep in mind I went to these shows with a few friends and only had two things to have them sign each time, unlike some shows where people show up with entire collections for them to sign. At one show I got J.ELVIS to sign a picture of a Tom Servo cake my friends then girlfriend made for a M.S.T. party they met at. I say then girlfriend because next week ( 1-7-12 ) they’re getting married.
Anyway BARTCOW I know you’ll enjoy the show and the meet and greet as well, you may spot Mary Jo’s husband there and if you get to speak to him you’ll feel as if you’ve known him your whole life. Sorry this is so long I’m home from work sick and real lonely, think I’ll go watch a bad movie get riffed to pieces by our friends.

I just stopped procrastinating and bought a ticket to tomorrow’s show in (around) Philly. Can’t wait to see the new movie, Astral Factor. I’m assuming that with the ticket I get to stick around for Frankenstein, right? I didn’t see any information that told me which movie I got to see. Anybody know offhand?

I wonder if the Frankenstein’s Castle of Freaks ( sounds like a Zappa album ) will have the Breast Balloon used (sounds like a Zappa song ) like the studio version had ??? Can’t wait to hear how the shows are, to all going please post pictures if you can. Also I wonder if Dave Grubber Allen will be there? If he does the intros and a song with J. Elvis look for him after the show, he kind of moves around the theater and will sign stuff if you see him. Cool guy real funny and easy to talk to, I got him to sign my Freaks and Geeks box set, along with J.Elvis, Trace and Joel. Also if this is your first live show, watch how much Mary Jo cracks up during the show and at the meet and greet after the show she’s a blast to talk to provided you don’t freeze up like I did when I first met her. If you remember anything fresh she may have said during the movie and you mention it to her she’ll blush and laugh it’s cute. And if you get to meet her husband as I said in #27 he’s cool to talk with as well.
