They will kick off the festival Thursday, Jan. 19, with “RiffTrax Presents: Night of the Shorts III: The Search for Schlock” along with guest riffers David Cross, John Hodgman, Bruce McCulloch, Paul F. Tompkins, Cole Stratton and Janet Varney. It’s at 8 p.m. at The Castro Theatre and tickets are $30/
The next night. Friday, Jan. 20, there’ll be a performance of CineMadness with Bill and Joseph Scrimshaw, with Kevin as a special guest. It will be 10:30 p.m. at The Eureka Theatre and tickets will be $20.
What a great line up! I really wish I was able to be there for this.

Well, it’s nice to see David Cross out doing something besides Alvin & the Chipmunks sequels, considering we pretty much wished he’d stop doing them after the first one.

I’ll be attending both of these and hope to post recaps/reviews shortly after. Anyone living on the West Coast should really think about coming to town for SFSF – there are so many great shows to see. The following weekend, comedian Doug Benson (and guests) will be doing a live “Movie Interruption” during the classic ROAD HOUSE. Curious to see how it compares with the Rifftrax version.

Wow, I’m having a deja-vu, guys. I thought I had seen this before, around December. Another glitch in the Matrix?
