I need to get that!
…plus it reminds me.
*Puts those two sound bytes (“Push the button, Frank” and the closing sound) as “Computer Shut Down” noises

It’s times like this that I wish I wore t-shirts more often.

Saaaaaaay… who’s the new shirt?!

If they remove the space before the exclamation marks, I’ll buy it in a heartbeat. Sorry for being a punctuation asshole.

‘gimmie! I want! I love the green! gimmie now!
Frank and Dr. F shirt! gimmie!’
actual footage of my brain reacting to its first glimpse of this item. sorry you had to see that, everyone…

@ Tony
I was the same way with the Turn Down Your Lights t-shirt… I couldn’t buy it until it said “where applicable” underneath it in a smaller font.
Not quite the same, but I understand where you’re coming from.

Nice mock-up. Hope the shirt looks nice. I hate it when the shirt looks great online, but looks like butt in person. Ditto about the punctuation. Looks wrong. Overall, it’s pretty nice. Sorry about being so critical. I’m tired and a little fussy. I should put myself down, I guess…

Then again, it’s just a shirt; I should really just relax.

Great design.
However, here’s my one complaint about ALL of the shirts Jim Mallon is selling these days. They all say “MST3K.com” on them instead of “Mystery Science Theater 3000”.
The shirts would be a LOT more desirable if they had the name of the show on the shirt instead of just promoting his web venture. After all, it’s the love of the show that gets people to buy these shirts so many years after the show’s demise.

That is exactly what I was thinking. I like the idea for the shirt, but the overall design isn’t that great at all. But even so the one main thing that makes me not want to buy it is the huge “mst3k.com” at the bottom. If I’m paying good money for the shirt it shouldn’t have a web address plastered on it (and your point of it not even actually saying “Mystery Science Theater 3000” makes it worse). If he was giving the shirts away as a promotion then that would be fine. You can’t complain about free, but for $16 plus shipping I expect to get more than an advertisement for a website.

Does it have flaws? Yeah!
Could I whip up something better in an hour or two w/ photoshop? Most probably!
Am I going to buy it anyway? You betcha!
My wife and I are pretty much at the point where we buy anything reasonable, just to support those who made the show which has given us so much joy.
That it’s Trace and Frank *together*!
