    Any word on extras in these? Anything that might entice someone that already has Volumes 3 and 5 to pick these up (aside from the stress ball if you order both)?

  2. Took them long enough to get around to HALF BLOOD PRINCE. The Harry Potter movies actually are quite decent, but face it, they make for some of the best riffing.

    I agree with you, Mr. Chairman. I dig the Potter movies, but they do make for some of the best riffs. This will be bought.

    I too love the Potter riffs, but nothing beats the Star Wars 4-6 riffs. Those are my faves.

    @Coderjoe
    I don’t think so. I think the Shout Select titles are just bare bones releases. Which is too bad. I was hoping for at least some Steve Vance lobby cards.

    Can anyone supply a link for replacement cover art for Potter? I prefer the photoshopped riffer art to the cartoon stuff.

    So they’re sticking with that horrible artwork? Any indication as to why? It doesn’t sell the product very well to people who may be unfamiliar with Rifftrax.

    I must have missed this when the two Select titles were announced, but will this release of The Atomic Brain have it’s stinger?

    It’s up on the rifftrax site. They’ll be showing some shorts, Maniac, and Night of the Living Dead on Halloween. So nothing new. But it is pretty cool that’ll be releasing a new riff of a Hercules type film. My girlfriend really likes those.

    The new posters don’t seem to sell anything anyone wants to buy, but let’s focus our disdain first on improving the Rifftrax opening theme music before tackling that one. We as a comment thread already won the removal of the closing guitar shred, now for the longer uglier part, except we’ve seen how we can accomplish something here if we just agree loudly and give each other enough thumbs up. The artwork will be easier to change later but once that music is in there, it’s in there.

    I actually like the RIFFTRAX theme song. Never had a problem with it.

    I rather like the art. Very playful.

    Right and some people like turtles but there’s always room for improvement wouldn’t you agree?

    I do the stinger myself for Atomic Brain. Scarf over my head…a little eye roll.. it’s magic.

    The artwork makes it look like some comic book.I prefer Mike,Kevin and Bill on the cover better.At least I know what to expect or what I’m in for when I see it as opposed to some drawing of a toaster and some wizard in a boat. :idk:
